The Local Agenda 21 Steering Committee traveled to Vienna, Austria on October 1, 2008 to participate in a two-day workshop. They were met and hosted by Professor Bernd Lotsch, Chairman of the Steering Committee & General Director of the Natural History Museum of Vienna.
The two-day workshop took place in a private seminar room of the Museum Quarters.
The guests were kindly treated to excursions organized by Professor Bernd Lotsch and the Natural History Museum of Vienna which included visits to the beautiful town of Rust, an eco-house, and even a climb to the top of a 70 meter windmill.
The workshop was a success as members debated passionately about the conclusion of the public workshop, and its significance to the Local Agenda 21.
